Clarifying the difference between progress and impact was essential: it is not enough to show that things are moving forward, but that your intervention produces a real, relevant effect that is different from possible alternatives. I appreciated working with clear input–output–outcome–impact chains, analyzing real organizational reports, and having honest discussions about limitations, negative effects, and data quality. The tools proposed – from pre/post testing to semi-structured interviews and proxy indicators – are concrete enough for any organization to improve something specific after the course. The most valuable takeaway is the perspective you leave with: moving from good intentions to clearer decisions about what we do, for whom, and with what demonstrable effect.
